Geze TS 550 New Version Floor Spring

These units are for internal doors and external doors and gates. We recommend using sealing compound for external applications to help prevent premature corrosion (available to purchase).
This floor spring unit is adjustable, allowing the door to be held open.

Not for use on fire doors due to hold open device.

Please note: The new version is slightly longer in length and has the pivot in a different place i.e. 5mm further forward.

This unit will fit in a Dorma BTS 80 foundation box.

Back Check

Hydraulic braking device which cushions the opening of a door i.e. to stop the door hitting a wall.

Delayed Closure

Contains an extra valve, to allow the door to close at a slower pace i.e. for slow moving traffic.

Single Action

Door opens one way only.

Double Action

Door opens both ways.

Hold Open

Door can be held open.

Non Hold Open

Door cannot be held open.

Strength

The unit strength is determined by the door size, weight, external conditions, degree of opening, use and adjustment of unit.

Non Handed

Suitable for either left or right hand doors.

Handed

Either left handed or right handed.

Adjustable Closing Speed

Speed of door closure can be adjusted.

Adjustable Latching Action

Speed of door can be altered for the last stage of door closure.
